Last week, my boys suddenly indicated that they were tired of summer and wanted to go back to school. How do I know? They were tired of their toys; they wanted new ones.
So, I did what any good mother would. I took advantage of the opportunity to purge.
“Great, let’s sell some of your old toys. You get half of what you make and can use it to buy something new.”
It’s win-win. I get rid of a lot of clutter and they get something new. And, the other 50% goes straight to Mom’s fund for new running gear, which makes my pot of gold even better.
They were driven. Without any help, the boys cleaned out all of the old construction toys, which my oldest loved but my youngest shows no interest in at all. Yes, those were definitely safe to sell.
“Wait! Not that one!” I heard one of them cry. “Mommy needs that!”
My ears perked and I cautiously walked into the play area. As soon as he saw me, Little Ironman grabbed it and came running up to me.

There will be no more long lines for me.
Yes, this is going straight into my gear bag.
Awwwww, little man is watching out for his mom. He's a keeper.
This was part of a construction theme that Playmobile put out years ago. I bought it for my son one Christmas and we giggled and giggled about it.
Now, they don't play with the trucks anymore but, when cleaning out, they knew where this needed to go!
I'm dying to know what exactly this port-a-potty toy was a set of. It was part of a set, right??
… and more importantly, where can I get my own?? đŸ˜‰
that is so funny!!!
That is ADORABLE! I love it!
LOL – I love this!!!!
Hahahaha! A clean porta-potty is priceless!
You know it's a good day when you find a porta-potty that clean at a race.
Interested to see what you buy next after that most recent purchase.
